2009-06 | Authorised Economic Operator - Security & Safety (AEOS)
In June 2009 Wallenborn successfully obtained it's AEOS certification. The Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) concept was introduced by the World Customs Organisation. Traders who meet a wide range of criteria work in close cooperation with customs authorities to assure supply chain security. It covers economic operators authorised for security and safety (AEOS).
2012-06 | Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) Truck Security Requirement (TSR)
The Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) Truck Security Requirement (TSR) exists to address cargo crime. Wallenborn was amongst the first to be TSR certified, and the first asset-based company in EMEA to be certified at levels 1, 2 and 3. The certification allows us to transport high value cargo and secured air freight.
2013-10 | Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
In October 2013 Wallenborn became GDP certified allowing us to confidently service pharma clients. The pharmaceutical and healthcare supply chain, particularly in the EU, became subject to increasing regulation, and global Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines drove the need for better quality equipment and procedures.
2018-05 | ISO 9001:2015 Certification
In May 2018 Wallenborn successfully completed the audit to update our ISO 9001 : 2008 accreditation to the 9001 : 2015 certificate. This sets out the criteria for a quality management system and is the only standard in the family that can be certified. This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.
